Setp 1:Check your eligibility to enter the desired programme
Students can email or call the College to enquire about course details etc, and to check if they fulfil the entry requirements for the course they intend to apply for.
Step 2:Fill in application form(s)
Duly complete the necessary application form(s).
Step 3:Prepare all necessary documents
1. Duly completed programme application form
2. Duly completed Student’s Pass Application Form, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) FORM 16 and V36(Applicant signature required)
3. 4 recent passport-sized photographs (white background)
4. Photocopy of passport (Biodata page)
5. Certified/ notarized copy of applicant’s birth certificate
6. Certified/ notarized copy of highest qualification certificates and transcripts
7. Photocopy of financial statement (At least 6 months bank fixed deposit with minimum amount of RMB200,000 for PRC only)
8.Employer’s letter certifying applicant’s occupation and salary (if applicable, accepted in English)
9. Employer’s letter certifying parent’s occupation and salary (if applicable, accepted in English)
10.Payment of SGD 218 (inclusive of 9% GST) as programme application fee (non-refundable, non-transferrable)

- Additional documents are required for the cases stated below:
1. If one of the applicant’s parents or step-parents is a Singapore citizen or permanent resident:
- The parent’s marriage certificate or divorce certificate and support agreement regarding the applicant (photocopy);
- The parent’s highest education certificates (photocopy);
- The parent’s proof of employment (include current employment start date, designation name and monthly income etc). If the parent is self-employed, business licence (computer printout) is required. Documents must be dated not more than 1 month back;
- The parent’s CPF Transaction/Contribution History showing past 1 year transactions;
- The parent’s Income Tax Notice of Assessment for the past 3 years (photocopy).
2.If the applicant’s spouse is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident:
- Marriage certificate or divorce certificate (photocopy);
- Spouse’s NRIC (photocopy);
- Spouse’s highest education certificates (photocopy);

Spouse’s proof of employment (include current employment start date, designation name and monthly income etc). If the spouse is self-employed, business licence (computer printout) is required. Documents must be dated not more than 1 month back;
- Spouse’s CPF Transaction/Contribution History showing past 1 year transactions;
- Spouse’s Income Tax Notice of Assessment for the past 3 years (photocopy).
Note:
1.All students are required to bring along the original documents as stated above. All documents submitted to SCTCM will not be returned.
2.If documents submitted are not in English, please provide an official translation of the documents. The College will only give evaluations upon receiving the complete and accurate set of documents.
Step 4:Submit Application for Evaluation

Note: Please ensure that all application documents are mailed to the College at least 2 months before the start of the course.
The Admission Assessment Team will evaluate all received documents and check if theinternation student fulfils the entry requirements.
Step 5:Student’s Pass Application
The Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine will apply for the Student’s Pass via the Student’s Pass Online Application & Registration (SOLAR+) system.
The general processing time for a new application is approximately four weeks upon the receipt of a duly completed application by the ICA, however some applications may take a longer time to process
Note: Approval of Student’s Pass is entirely dependent on ICA’s decision. The College does not guarantee success of the Student’s Pass application.

Step 6:Application Outcome
All applicants will be informed of their application outcome. Upon Student’s Pass approval, the school will send out:
Step 7:Arrival in Singapore
You are required to enter Singapore at least 14 days before the commencement of your programme and report to the college within 24 hours upon your arrival in Singapore.
Step 8: Medical Check-up and collection of Student’s Pass
For applicants who are required by ICA to do health screenings, our staff will be giving out the list of clinic addresses for applicants to do the medical check-up.
We will help applicants to book an appointment.
Applicants are required to bring along the original documents required for collection of the Student’s Pass as stated in the IPA letters.
Important Note:
Student’s pass holders are prohibited from working in Singapore, regardless of paid or unpaid.
Students are required to fulfill at least 90% attendance at all times. |
